How do I redeem an access code purchased at the bookstore?

The Perusall access code that you have purchased is unique to you and the book you are using. It can only be redeemed once. The code will be in the form PERUSALL-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. 

If your instructor has integrated Perusall with your institution’s Learning Management System (for example, Blackboard, Canvas, Sakai, Desire2Learn, Moodle, etc):

1. Click on the Perusall link or button in your Learning Management System, or click on a Perusall assignment in your Learning Management System.
2. The first time you click on the book or on a reading assignment from the book, you will be prompted to purchase it. Click Enter an access code in the top bar and then enter the access code you received from the bookstore to gain access.

If your instructor is using Perusall standalone:

1. Go to the Perusall home page.
2. If you do not yet have a Perusall account, create one or log in using a social media account.
3. After logging in and accepting the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, click “I am a student” and enter your instructor’s course code to enroll in the course.
4. The first time you click on the book or on a reading assignment from the book, you will be prompted to purchase it. Click Enter an access code in the top bar and then enter the access code you received from the bookstore to gain access (you will need to enter the full code beginning with PERUSALL).
